Welcome to my page, I'm so glad that you're here. My name is Rachel, and my main objective is to create meaningful and high-quality content within an array of media outlets such as photography, videography, audio production, etc. In addition to obtaining a degree in Media and Information with a Specialization in Film and Media Production, I have a background in comedy production.

Through my experiences in concert/commercial photography, screenwriting, directing, videography, and acting, I aim to create content that matches your brand. Back in 2019-2020, I worked as a Digital Content and Video Producer for five of the radio stations in St. Louis and most recently have worked as a freelance videographer, producer, and editor. I have extensive experience managing social media accounts that documented major news and created marketing for entertainment functions such as concerts and sporting events. Additionally, in my previous role I pitched story ideas, wrote, proofread, and edited press releases and website content, and was in charge of all aspects of filmed content: pre-production, storyboard, shooting, editing, and post-production. This included coordinating budgets and schedules for filming, setting up lighting and sound, capturing defining moments of performances and games, and posting all event updates to social media quickly and efficiently.  I am well versed in enhancing companies' content strategies with my wealth of knowledge in strategic ideation and execution of multimedia content that performs well for an online audience.

To me, media production contains an element of magic - the ability to transport us to another time and place, to bring out emotions and alter perceptions, and to expand our knowledge of a world aside from our own. Subtitles bridge the gap between languages and deficits, documentaries inform and educate, and movies create the essence of relatability amongst a theatre filled with strangers. 

 

My objective is to continue to create meaningful content that captures the essence of a company, the magic within a musical moment, or gives individuals the opportunity to indulge in a story aside from their own while reflecting upon their own experiences and journeys. I am always looking for new and exciting ways to create content and look forward to working with individuals with the same passion and drive as me.
